Key benefits

• Users can automatically sign into HappyCo using their Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) account
• Manage all HappyCo users from Microsoft Entra ID
• All new users are given the Standard role by default and can be changed on a per user basis in HappyCo Manage

Adding the HappyCo application to Microsoft Entra ID

1. Log into the Azure Portal, and then open Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) in the left sidebar.

   

2. Once in Microsoft Entra ID, open Enterprise Applications in the sidebar.

   

3. Click New Application.

   

4. You'll be then shown a gallery of potential applications to add. However we want to create our own app. Click Create your own application.

   

5. Name the app HappyCo and select Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery**.** Then click the Create button.

6. Once created, the new HappyCo app now will be shown. In the left sidebar, click on Single Sign-On.

   

7. The select the SAML single sign on method.

   

8. In Step 1 under Basic SAML Configuration, click the Edit button.

   

9. Fill in the following fields and then click Save: Identifier → https://manage.happyco.com/saml2 Reply URL → https://manage.happyco.com/saml2/acs Sign On URL → https://account.happyco.com/signin

   

10. Open up Step 2: User Attributes & Claims. Then add the following claims:

    Unique User Identifier → user.userprincipalname firstName → user.givenname lastName → user.surname

    

11. Your SSO setup in Microsoft Entra ID is now complete!
